• Once the endoscopy is done, the patient can go home on the same day, but when a doctor finds complications, then the person must stay in the hospital for 24 hours.

After completion of the endoscopy, an individual might feel minor side effects including sore throat, dry mouth, bloating and gas. However, these are temporary; they will go in a few hours after taking the rest.
