A refund or cancellation policy is a written understanding that sets out the company policies on refunds and or cancellations for treatment packages that have been linked. Typically, it outlines the situations where a client is likely to get a refund for the services or treatment that have already been paid for, but are unable to get. The company processes every payment facilitated through its platform using a third-party payment processor. Subject to the relevant terms and conditions, refunds will be processed for cancellations made within the time limit set for that purpose.
Refund Policy
The HealthCheckBox refund policy is valid for 30 days. We are unable to provide you with a refund if thirty days have passed following your treatment confirmation. The specified amount of time will immediately result in the cancellation of your reservation. The user may be required to make a Down Payment for specific treatments or providers. For greater clarity, the corresponding sum and cancellation policies will be posted on the website. After a predetermined number of days, if your refund is authorized, it will be processed and a credit will be automatically credited to your credit card or the original payment method.
Refund amount: The policy specifies the portion of the total payment that can be refunded. Depending on when the cancellation occurs, this could be a fixed sum or a percentage of the entire cost.
Particular Circumstances: The policy includes a section that allows for extraordinary circumstances, such medical emergency, when clients may be qualified to a full or partial refund even if they cancel with less notice.
Documentation: In order to support the reason for cancellation, clients may be asked by the policy to provide the necessary documentation, such as medical certifications or other relevant documents.

- At least 30 days before to the appointment, the user may cancel the treatment without incurring any fees.
- Provided that the following circumstances are satisfied:
(i) A doctor determines that the patient is not eligible for the treatment;
(ii) The patient is not eligible for travel (the patient must give HealthCheckBox a medical certificate verifying this up to two weeks following cancellation);
(iii) In the event of a natural disaster, like an earthquake or war; or
(iv) In the event of death.
- To review, cancel, or reschedule their appointment, the user should go back to the confirmation email and follow the instructions provided within. Any notes on the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment should include the user’s full name, the name of the appropriate provider, the therapy, and the date and time of the appointment.
