Stem Cell Facelift Treatment

  • Description
Description

Stem cell facelift is a cosmetic procedure in which damaged cells are replaced in the skin of the face, and it is also called rhytidectomy. It plays an important role for cells, tissues, and organs of the body, and it is found in the skin dermis. It also acts as a foundation that has a regenerative capability to change from one type to another type of particular cell.

In a person, wrinkles and fine lines are the signs of aging that get noticed over a period of time. There is a stem cell facelift therapy, which is also called stem cell lift. This process can regenerate, and it also adds volume to the skin to look younger, healthier, and beautiful.

Types of Skin Stem Cells

Their name is given according to their location, and these are of the following types:

  • Hair follicle stem cells
  • Melanocyte stem cells
  • Interfollicular epidermis stem cells
  • Dermal stem cells

Why do People Get a Stem Cell Facelift?

There are many reasons why most individuals have to go for a facelift. These reasons are as follows:

  • Reduce wrinkles
  • Add fat in hollow areas
  • Revive the skin
  • Repairs appearance
  • Reduces saggy cheeks
  • Boost confidence
  • Take off your age
  • Tighten up skin

Advantages of Stem Cell Facelift Therapy

There are various benefits after facelift therapy, and these are as follows:

  • It increases the level of collagen, as a result, it improves the skin texture by making it smooth and young.
  • It gives a fresh look by helping to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
  • Hollow and sagging areas can be restored by adding volume to these areas to look more fuller.
  • It regenerates your skin in a natural way for a long-lasting period.
  • It is a non-surgical process that requires no cutting and stitches.
  • It is a natural process in which the body’s stem cells are used to reduce the risk of allergic reaction.
  • This helps to maintain moisture of the skin. It is done by stimulating and maintaining the quantity of the hyaluronic acid in the skin.

Stem Cell Facelift Treatment Options

Stem cell facelift can be treated in two ways:

  • Surgical Facelift
  • Non-Surgical Facelift

Surgical Facelift

It is a cosmetic procedure that is done to enhance face appearance, and its therapy or treatment includes the following steps:

Preparation Before the Treatment

Before starting the treatment, some preparation has to be done.

  • Check medical history, such as previous surgeries, etc.
  • Facial examination, like its shape, bone structure etc.
  • Information about the drugs you are taking or not. For example, blood-thinning medicine like aspirin should be stopped.
  • Allergic to any medications.

During the Treatment

  • Step 1: A local anesthesia is given to a person by the surgeon. It can be general or intravenous.
  • Step 2: To sculpt your face, fat from your skin may be removed or added, which is done by making a cut. These incisions are of the following types:
    • Traditional Facelift: A cut is made at the temple which is around your ear or hairline that ends with the lower scalp. From this cut, the fat is redistributed by targeting the jawline, neck and lower face to give a natural look.
    • Limited Facelift: It includes a small cut at the temples by continuing the ear. It is also called mini facelift, as the name suggests, it does not include a whole facelift. It is done to correct droopy jaws and saggy skin or skin with less elasticity.
    • Neck Lift: This incision helps to improve the neck and the lower face by making the first cut on the chin and another behind the ear.
  • Step 3: To give an attractive appearance, fat is removed or added. After this, the incisions were made, and the stem facelift is closed with sutures. These stitches are covered with bandages.

After the Treatment

You might feel pain, redness, swelling and numbness for some duration. If these problems become worse, then you should contact your surgeon immediately.

Non Surgical Facelift

It is painless, which does not include large cuts, and these are mentioned below:

  • Chemical Peeling: For wrinkles and large pores
  • Fat Injection: Fat is extracted from your body through liposuction. Then injected to fill those saggy areas of your face.
  • Microneedling: It is done to activate the growth of collagen to increase elasticity of the skin.
  • Dermal Fillers: Gel or hyaluronic acid are injected into the skin to add volume to cheeks and lips.
  • Botulinum Toxin Injection: Wrinkles around the eyes, eyebrows, and forehead are reduced by injecting. The most popular injection is Botox which helps to relax those tensed muscles which cause wrinkles.

Risks of Stem Cell Facelift
