Step 1: A local anesthesia is given to a person by the surgeon. It can be general or intravenous.
Step 2: To sculpt your face, fat from your skin may be removed or added which is done by making a cut. These incisions are of the following types:-
- Traditional Facelift – A cut is made at the temple which is around your ear or hairline that ends with the lower scalp. From this cut, the fat is redistributed by targeting the jawline, neck and lower face to give a natural look.
- Limited Facelift – It includes a small cut at the temples by continuing the ear. It is also called mini facelift, as the name suggests, it does not include a whole facelift. It is done to correct droopy jaws and saggy skin or skin with less elasticity.
