Ovulation induction is a treatment method used to treat the betterment of egg quality in a female’s body. Success Rate of Ovulation Induction 

Ovulation induction success rate depends on the underlying cause of infertility and specific method used in the treatment. For instance, ovulation induction with the help of clomiphene, which is a common drug used in treating infertility problems in females, has a success rate of 10 to 20% per cycle. Just like thi,s there are several methods and drugs which support the treatment and show the different success results. Medication and Drugs Used for Treating Induction Ovulation 

In ovulation induction treatment method, doctors and gynecologists uses variety of hormone balancing drugs to regulate a woman’s reproductive hormones for increasing the chances of normal ovulation. Some popular medications are given below: 

  • Clomiphene Citrate: It is considered an effective drug to stimulate the hormones in the female’s body. The drug’s other name is Clomid. 
  • Aromatase Inhibitor: This is also an effective medicine to treat PCOS concerns in women. The drug is known as letrozole in the market. 
  • Insulin-Sensitizing Agents: These drugs are commonly used to treat PCOS conditions. The medicine is also known as metformin. 
  • Ganadotropins: These contain two injectable hormones, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone. Both hormones encourage egg production and are normally produced by the pituitary gland that is found in the brain.
